Dutch Delftware

Holland played a pivoting roll in the field of European ceramics through trade with the Far East in the 17th century and the novel ideas the Delft faience producers had in the 18th century. Placed in global context it underlines the importance of Dutch Delftware and the example it set for other European manufacturers.

The New York Times

Aronson Antiquairs of Amsterdam is the specialist in 17th and 18th century Dutch Delftware. Robert Aronson, a “master in Delft blue”, according to magazine Residence, has “some of the world’s most sought-after example of rare Dutch Delftware” (Artdaily.org). The Financial Times recently wrote that Delft at Aronson’s are “collectables to be discovered” and the Wall Street Journal calls them “exquisite antique examples” in their article “Delight in blue and white.”
