Marked Í:G / 2 in blue for Jan Gaal, owner of De Twee Scheepjes (The Two Ships) factory from 1707 until 1725, or his widow Gaal-van der Plank from 1725 through 1727
Wearing a manganese hood, a tasseled yellow cowl, a yellow-fringed blue coat, yellow stockings and manganese shoes, and modeled with his head tilted upward, his clenched left hand raised, his right hand touching his chest, and seated cross-legged on a shaped square pedestal painted with blue bellflower, dot and scroll motifs between green molded foliate scrolls at the corners and a manganese- and yellow edged base.
