The blog Cote de Texas by Joni Webb takes us to a newly restored house in Provence, France. Le Mas des Poiriers is an 18th-century farm house in Provence, located near the Medieval city of Avignon on Isle de la Motte. The property’s 65 acres offers true seclusion, amidst working pear orchards, which produce six tonnes of fruit annually. It was renovated by the team of Cabinet d’Architecture Bruno et Alexandre Lafourcade, one of France’s preeminent architects. The interiors were done by SBLong Interiors of Dallas & Connecticut, who have made wonderful use of blue and white, amongst which Delftware, throughout the house.
The picture showing a beautiful arrangement of Delftware plates on top of a mirror was taken in the dining room of the property. To see more photos, please click here.
