Marked AP in blue for Anthonij Pennis, the owner of De Twee Scheepjes (The Two Ships) Factory from 1750 to 1770, or his widow Pennis-Overgaauw, the owner of the factory from 1770 to 1782
Wearing a hood patterned with blue trelliswork and iron-red and yellow floral sprigs over her head and shoulders, a green bodice with a blue-laced stomacher and blue cuffs, and a hatchwork-patterned blue apron over a skirt striped in pale manganese, blue, iron-red and yellow, its hem revealing her buckled manganese shoes, holding a four-stringed yellow viola da gamba in her left hand and strumming with her right, her head tilted back as if to sing, and standing beside a small dog with manganese markings on the blue top of a shaped triangular base marbleized in blue and applied on the front with a vine bearing yellow and manganese blossoms and green leaves.
