Painted with four fan-shaped panels depicting important and auspicious scholars’ items, such as a double- gourd and a fly whisk with ribbons, separated by narrow panels decorated with continuous scroll and dot motifs in the neck, interrupted by a border of ribbons around the shoulder, the spout with oral scrollwork.
