Delft, circa 1770
The cover modeled as a bird with manganese-delineated yellow plumage, a manganese head and yellow beak, and a fan-shaped tail accentuated in orange, perched amidst flowering branches, the branches and the oval tureen molded with stylized flowers picked out in yellow and with leaves in shades of green.
