Delft, circa 1710

Marked LVE, numeral 5 and letters G and X in blue for Lambertus van Eenhoorn, the owner of De Metaale Pot (The Metal Pot) factory from 1691 until 1721, or his widow Margaretha Teckmann from 1721 to 1724

The spade-shaped body painted on the front and reverse with a rooster among a profusion of flowering branches and scattered blossoms, leaf sprigs and three-dot clusters, the sides with S-scroll handles decorated with continuous scrolls, the knopped and flaring rectangular foot with rose sprigs and demi-chrysanthemum blossoms and leaves above a border of 3-devices, and the top issuing five flaring spouts decorated with leafy vines.
