Each painted in a chinoiserie style in blue, iron-red, yellow and green, on the bulbous body with four medaillons with Asian-inspired landscapes, two with pagoda-style buildings and a fisherman on a boat on the water, and two with a long-tailed exotic bird perched on a flowering plant above a recumbent hare, all framed by intricate borders featuring tassels, floral elements, scrollwork, and cartouches also filled with landscape scenes with bridges, pagodas and fishing boats, the same decorative theme with smaller vignettes of pagodas and figures on the domed cover topped by a ball-finial with tassel devices.
