Delft, circa 1755
Finely painted with a luxuriant arrangement of flowers in a wicker basket between two flitting insects, the molded self- frame with a blue-edged iron-red border of white scrolls and green leaves interrupted with four molded scallop shells above leaf-scrolls issuing small sprigs, and the top pierced with two holes for suspension; the reverse glazed.
