Painted with a long-tailed bird and two insects in flight above a jardinière of chrysanthemums and bamboo within a blue-ground roundel patterned with gilt trellis diaperwork and fleurs-de-lis, the rim with a border of floral lappets beneath a further band of trellis diaper- work alternating with gilt dots.
